While at Belmont, Monique volunteered at a local clinic in its breakfast program and
volunteered her time at Belmont’s Family Literacy Day event. Serving in these roles have
led her to become the Literacy Activity Director with Nashville’s Kanye Avenue Missionary
Baptist Church summer program. Through this new role, Monique introduces children
to music, culture, science and nature. Making a difference in her community: this is how
Monique Cadet is Belmont.
